The FarmWizard Beef Performance manager package is aimed at beef farmers who are looking for a simple “point and click” way to keep herd records and to assess herd and animal beef performance. It has the following functionality:

Initial Download - Allows all your herd details to be downloaded from APHIS/BCMS. This means that you dont have to waste time manually adding the data. .

Herd Manager - Allowing you to record animal movements and sale.

APHIS/BCMS Interface - Allows you to register births, death and still borns on FarmWizard and they may be automatically passed through to APHIS/BCMS if requested.

APHIS/BCMS Movements - Allows you to download animal movements into and out of your herd from APHIS/BCMS.

Farm Quality Assurance Records - Record medical purchases, feedstuffs and animal treatments for your herd.

Reporting Feature - Allows you to design your own reports with sorting facilities to analyse your information.

DARD Accepted Herd Register – Means that you no longer keep a paper copy of your Herd register.

Weighing and Pricing – Record weighing and pricing information on your herd and use this to analyse daily live weight gain and turn-over per head. Thus helping you make more informed decisions for your beef enterprise.

Suckler Breeding records – Record and manage breeding information for your suckler herd.

Mobile Phone Interface – Record weighing information by mobile phone text message and retrieve information such as price, weight and age of individual animals in real time.

Carcass Information – Record results from abattoir to keep track of animal and herd carcass quality.

Other community related functionality offered is:

Farm Organiser - Allowing you to keep and maintain schedules and important appointments.

Village Hall - Allowing you to access a community of interest message board.

Market Square - Allowing you to add agricultural items you wish to sell and also items you wish to purchase.
